2 new strategy dynamics books

Now available are republished editions of two short books, aimed at upper-level strategy and HR execs, and useful in short courses. Business Expert Press has done a fine job editing and producing them:

Building Strategy and Performance through Time: The Critical Path outlines the key ideas and frameworks of strategy dynamics.
Developing Employee Talent to Perform: People Power explains the big contribution that strategy dynamics thinking has for HR professionals.

I’ve just sent off for re-release to Business Expert Press 2 of 3 strategy dynamics booklets I thought had died. I wrote ‘The Critical Path‘ and ‘People Power‘ a few years back [samples at these links - new edns will be updated] , and published with folk who turned out useless [and cost me tons of money - grrrr! FYI they moved on to Marshall Cavendish, so authors watch out!].

BEP’s focus is great – they publish titles that execs can quickly read and apply – author guidelines say the book should be readable from cover to cover on a 2-hour plane ride, which is exactly how these two were written. Smart folk too – David Parker who runs it was a Senior editorial VP at Pearson.

BTW the 3rd title is Competing for Choice from my friend Lars Finskud at Vanguard Strategy, which is also being re-released.
